Meet Las Commodoras

Las Commodoras is the women’s auxiliary of Bahia Corinthian Yacht Club. Also known as the BCYC Goodwill Ambassadors, the Las Commodoras board members organize, plan and execute social events and service activities for all members of the club.

With the assistance of our membership, Las Commodoras has generously supported non-profit organizations such as the Ronald McDonald House Charity and the 1st Marines Special Operations Battalion. We host lady Marines and Marine wives at our annual Fashion Show Luncheon. We also facilitate a Backpack Drive to kick off the school year, as well as a Toy Drive for the children of Marine service members during the holidays. Our Annual Dog Show is a favorite event for all, where we show off our furry members and donate to a local animal charity. In addition to these events, each year a “purposeful gift” is chosen and presented on behalf of the Las Commodoras president and her board members towards enhancement of BCYC. Las Commodoras takes great pride in representing our club with these service activities.
