Junior Sailing Programs

BCYC offers a variety of year-round sailing classes for children as young as seven years old. Our novice programs focus on safety and fun, while our more advanced classes stress racing techniques.

New sailors start with the Sabot Novice program and grow into Sabot Racing and Double-Handed Sailing. As sailors progress and become more ambitious, they can transition into Double Handed Racing (for those who are race oriented) or the Junior Mariner's program (for non-racers).
